The Covid-19 Prison Giveaway Project to Our Native Sisters in Prison<\/strong><\/p>\n

We know many of our sisters in prison are in lockdown because of the COVID-19 Virus. The virus is spreading throughout the prison and I cannot imagine the stress they are going through.<\/p>\n

After talking to a couple of the Wellbriety people who are working with the Sisters, they told me if the inmates could have a Red Road to Wellbriety book and Study Guide and Workbook to go through while in lockdown, it would help relieve some of the tension and help them on their path to recovery.\u00a0 So, this is what White Bison is proposing.<\/p>\n

We have reached an agreement with two women’s prisons. One is in California, CIW (they are making masks and sending them to our tribal communities) and one is in Washington state. If you feel moved to purchase one Red Road to Wellbriety Book ($18.00) and one Study Guide and Workbook ($15.00), a total of $33.00, for either one of these women\u2019s prisons, White Bison would match your gift for another set of the Red Road to Wellbriety book and Study Guide. We are willing to do this for 50 sets of books for each of the two prisons. This will allow 200 books to be given for free to our Native sisters.<\/p>\n

Being locked up, our Sisters can read about recovery and the cultural ways of Wellbriety.<\/p>\n

If you would like to place an order, please call at 866-518-5275 and ask for Virginia.\u00a0 Tell her this is for the COVID-GIVEAWAY PROJECT, give her a payment of $33.00 and we will include an extra set of books to send to our Native women in prison. If you would like us to write a note from you to be put in the book, give Virginia the words or ask her for an email to send them and we will slip those words in the book.<\/p>\n

We need our women to come home. If you feel moved, please help us help our sisters in prison.\u00a0\u00a0This offering will be reviewed at the end of each month, and we will publish how many books are being sent to women\u2019s prisons.<\/p>\n
