On July 11 2018, White Bison became an approved Continuing Education Provider for the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP)!
Why is this important?Certified Alcohol and/or Drug Counselors in California are required to obtain 50 hours of continuing education (CEH’s) toward renewal of certification. With this certification, these individuals can now can count ALL 24 hours earned at White Bison trainings towards their certification hours.
This certification also showcases that our programs meet current and requirements as set forth by CCAPP and the Education Board(CCAPP Institute). In doing so, we hope that this will attract new certified addiction professionals to our training programs.
What is the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals(CCAPP)? CCAPP is the largest statewide consortium of community-based substance used disorder treatment agencies and addiction focused professionals. They provide services to over 100,000 California residents each year in residential, outpatient and provide practice settings. To learn more about CCAPP, please click here.
